All members of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team accept instructions funded by individual or collective Conditional Fee Agreements. Chambers uses the current APIL/PIBA Model CFA, the full terms of which can be found at APIL, PIBA and the Bar Council. Members of other teams may also accept instructions on a CFA on a case by case basis.
Over the years the Personal Injury Team has developed a protocol for dealing with such claims which is designed to ensure that the strengths and weakness of a claim are identified as soon as possible (preferably before significant costs have been incurred).
In addition Chambers has agreed to vary the terms of the standard Protocol in order to meet the specific requirements of our regular Instructing Solicitors.
Instructions received outside the terms of the Protocol may also be accepted, subject to the merits of the individual case.
