Hannah is a family advocate with over 15 year’s experience specialising in children matters.
Called in 2008, Hannah practiced at the Independent Bar between 2009 and 2012, before becoming in house counsel at leading Welsh provider of outsourced legal representation to local authority children’s services.
In 2020 Hannah returned to the Independent Bar as a tenant at 30 Park Place Chambers.
Hannah is a confident advocate, at ease with complex cases, urgent hearings, contested matters and appearances before all levels of judiciary.
As a result of excellent client-care, Hannah has developed a strong and close working relationships with professionals within local authorities, including social workers, senior social-work management and local authority lawyers.
Adept in advising on complex points of law, often on urgent bases and extensive experience of drafting documents, including complex threshold criteria and legal arguments.
Hannah regularly handles complex cases which have included very serious injury, sexual abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, deprivation of liberty, complex jurisdictional and international issues and Court of Protection.
