30 Park Place is continually monitoring the current health crisis and receiving daily advice from Government organisations and professional bodies. We want to re-assure all our clients that we remain fully operational and we have the necessary infrastructure, systems and resources already in place to continue to provide the best service.
Staff
We have the appropriate level of staff available at Chambers with others working from home remotely. They will be able to securely access all necessary documentation remotely whilst following usual policies and controls. Telephone calls can be forwarded to those clerks working remotely from home. Our main switchboard number is 02920 398421
Direct Dial information for the Clerks can be found here: www.30parkplace.co.uk/clerks-administration
Barristers
Our barristers remain willing and able to accept instructions, host meetings and attend court in line with the current health and professional guidelines. Barristers have the means to work remotely and are accessible either by telephone or Skype. Telephone calls can be put through to all barristers from Chambers when working from home.
Hearings
The current position is that courts and tribunals remain open. However, this situation may change as access to courts becomes limited. Many of our barristers already work electronically and are prepared to deal with telephone and Skype hearings. In some cases this is already happening.
We have an obligation to maintain our service at all times, even in extraordinary circumstances. Throughout this ever-changing situation, we will follow Government advice and guidance and remain committed to providing you with the highest standard of work and service and to collaboratively develop ways of working which ensures continued access to justice.
